When I began making this track I was trying for a new age feel. I wanted something soft and relaxing, perhaps even inspiring for new ideas. I think in the end it turned out to be a bit more modern but the result is something I am quite pleased with.

This is my very first song and my first attempt at doing anything like this. I hope that you enjoy it. Please do leave comments as I’d love to know your thoughts!

Today was an interesting day. One of the students I’m tutoring in math went from an 8.1 grade level to a 12.9 in just under 2 months or so. I guess that’s a good thing, she was happy, as were the managers. On the other side, a handful of projects I’d been working on got up ended and I’m back to square one Oh well, I think the track title says it all.

Regardless, at least I was actually able to put out something new! I’ve switched from my old tool (Sonic Foundry’s Acid) to the MAGIX Music Maker 12. So far so good, but to be honest I’ve hardly broken in all the bells and whistles. One thing at a time I guess.
