Why I’m Doing This
Years ago I was working for a small web design studios, and among other things I ended up having to do the soundtracks for a handful of projects. These ended up being quite a bit of fun, and between then and now I’d collected about 14 gigs of loops. The problem though is that I didn’t really have a reason to keep producing music once I’d left the job. But, now things have come around and after digging through some of the old tracks I’d created, I thought about building this site and sharing the tracks for anyone to use.
Ideally, I’d love to lend support to the podcasting community because I listen to several but don’t have a significant way of giving back other than monetarily. Hopefully people who produce their own podcasts for the love of whatever they’re doing will use some of this music in their work. In truth, these mp3s can be used in anything non-commercial, and can be hacked to pieces in anyway you see fit. Just give credit back to this site, and it’s yours. Everything here is being released under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial Share Alike 3.0 License, and you can just click on that link for full details.
That being said though, I’d really enjoy hearing what you’re using this music in, and I’d love to give a link to your project. If you want to give something back, I’d appreciate would be your comments tacked onto the music, as well as mentioning this site to anyone who might be interested. I’m trying to get better at this, so criticism is welcome!
I hope you like what I’ve put out, and that you keep coming back to hear more
